KINGS OF MACEDON. Perseus, 179-168 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.65 g, 7 h), pseudo-Rhodian issue, uncertain mint in Thessaly, Hermias, magistrate, circa 171/0. Head of Helios facing slightly to right. Rev. EPMIAΣ / Z-Ω Rose with bud to right. Price, Larissa, pl. LV, 247. SNG Keckman 793-5. The obverse struck slightly off center and with minor die rust, otherwise, good extremely fine.

From the collection of Dr. Max Blaschegg (1930-2021, with collector’s ticket), privately acquired from Dr. F. Sternberg in summer 1972.
